Stop what you are doing and answer this question:
Why does your business exist in the first place?
No really, write down an answer (I promise I know you are a busy entrepreneur but there is a reason behind the madness).
Have it written down? Happy with the answer? Great.
Now, be honest. Is your answer all about you or all about others? If it is all about you then you have a problem.
Your why NEEDS to be others-centric! If you are only focused on yourself and not on others, how will you get others to support your business and share your vision?
Think about your business again. How you are making a difference in the lives of your client, your community, or, dare I say it, the world?
The clearer your answer the easier it is going to be to run your business!
Knowing why your business exists will help you stay focused on what really matters, it allows you to focus on becoming the expert in your field, by confidently put all of your efforts and resources towards a single purpose.
Gone will be the days of second guessing, trying too many things, or not knowing where to start or what to say!
You will be able to present your business to the world authentically and unapologetically.
So I ask again: Why does your business exist in the first place?
